Interests
With an underlying international perspective, the courses I deliver are in the areas of organizational strategy, international business, and marketing.
In the area of strategy and through an international lens, I am particularly interested in organizational transitions to a sustainable (triple bottom line) orientation. Additionally, in the area of international business and marketing my interests include: the geopolitical environment of business, business to business marketing, and Sustainability.
Whenever possible, the courses I teach include an experiential component. In the area of strategy this involves working with local organizations (preferably non-profits) to evaluate and provide recommendations to improve their organizational performance. Examples of Applied Project Community clients (Strategy and Marketing) are below.
Overall, I strive to be actively involved at the local, national, and international levels of progressive graduate and undergraduate business education.
