Virtual Drop-in Registration Help
Our Student Recruiter-Advisors are now hosting online drop-in Registration sessions to assist students with questions about how to Register for courses and troubleshoot issues that might arise. These will be 1-on-1 breakout rooms through our BlueJeans Video Conferencing Software.

Financial Aid Options
Our Future Students team, with the help of our Student Awards & Financial Aid office, will be hosting webinars for students to come and learn about the different funding programs available to students studying at TRU.
The webinar will cover:
Student Loans, Bursaries & Scholarships, and Work Study
These 30 minutes presentations, followed by 15 minutes for Q+A are scheduled on the following days/times each week:

Tea and Transitions Circle
The Qelmúcw (Indigenous) Recruiter-Advisors from TRU’s Future Student’s Office are pleased to invite you to Tea and Transitions, an informal virtual circle for new TRU students. While the event will have an Indigenous focus, all applicable new students are welcome. Please be aware that the Future Students team can only assist with campus, domestic student concerns up to the undergraduate level and this session will not be appropriate for Open Learning, international or graduate-level students. This session is intended as an open, relaxing space to get support. Pour a mug full of something warm and join us for a sharing circle, and the opportunity to get specific guidance. This will be a judgment-free space to discuss new student concerns and cultivate a virtual community as we all prepare for a unique Fall semester.

Virtual Open House Q&A Info Session
We are bringing the Open House to you! These virtual information sessions are for future students, parents, high school counsellors and anyone else interested in learning more about Thompson Rivers University. This info session will be delivered in partnership with current TRU students. We will walk students through the Virtual Open House website, and give new students the opportunity to chat with current students about what ‘alternate delivery’ is like – and help to dispel the mystery of online learning.
