Admission Process

This is a general process, each program will have it's own unique guidelines for online, domestic and international students.

    Read through program requirements

    Read through all the pages on your programs site. Make sure you are aware of your requirements, each program is different.

    Apply online

    Please read up on your individual application process on your programs site. Most applications will be done online at educationplannerbc.ca.

    Open Learning applications can be done here.

    Contact gradadmissions@tru.ca for questions regarding the application process.

    Note: Documents will be sent separately after the online process is complete.

  • Step 3

    Send in other documents after online process

    Once you submit your online application through educationplannerbc.ca, you then will submit your documents.

    Documents may include reference letters, transcripts, english language exams etc.

    Once you have applied, you will receive an email from Graduate Admissions with instructions on how to submit the required documents needed to complete your application.

    Application is complete

    Once you have completed steps 1-3, Thompson Rivers University will get in touch with you about the offer.
