The requirements Institutional learning outcomes model
The institutional learning outcomes (ILOs) are implemented in the curriculum through the General Education Model.
As part of their graduation requirements, all bachelor’s degree students complete credits that ensure they achieve each of the eight institutional outcomes through their studies. In addition, students are guaranteed at least one high impact learning experience and take a capstone course in their final year of study.
The General Education Model and procedures are the responsibility of the Academic Planning and Priorities Committee of Senate (APPC). Supported by the Office of Mission Fulfilment and Quality Assurance, the model and procedures will be reviewed at least once every seven years.
