Vacation and days off
To encourage a healthy work life balance, TRU offers a generous vacation
allowance in addition to a full campus closure at the end of each calendar
- Tenure-track faculty: 40 days
- Administration: starting at 25 days
- Support staff: starting at 15 days
- Paid time off during campus winter closure

When you need help to navigate life’s milestones and challenges, our confidential employee and family assistance program (EFAP) is available to you, your spouse and dependents at no extra cost. Spouses or dependents can ask the TRU employee to add you to their account to login or confidentially contact our Campus Wellness Advisor for information on access and services.
TRU also has a dedicated mental health and wellness advisor and a wide
variety of offerings and resources including: workplace wellness webinars,
a multi-faith chaplaincy, and much more.
