Thompson Rivers University's Community Education and Workforce Development (CEWD) is committed to serving learners across the Thompson-Cariboo region through our campuses in Kamloops and Williams Lake, as well as our regional centres in smaller, rural, and remote communities. We understand the importance of providing accessible education close to home, ensuring that individuals can gain the skills and training they need without leaving their communities. Our locations offer in-person courses, programs, and technology-enabled learning, allowing students to connect with instructors and resources no matter where they are. Whether through hands-on training, online learning, or hybrid delivery, TRU CEWD brings high-quality education to learners where they live and work. 100 Mile House
TRU has served the 100 Mile House community for over 35 years, providing accessible education and training opportunities. In May 2024, TRU relocated its 100 Mile House Regional Centre to a newly renovated facility at 475 Birch Avenue. This modern space features state-of-the-art classrooms with the latest technology, enabling in-person and virtual learning experiences. The upgraded centre reaffirms TRU's commitment to delivering high-quality education close to home for residents of 100 Mile House and the surrounding area.

Barriere and Clearwater
TRU is committed to supporting learners in North Thompson by bringing education and training opportunities directly to the community. We partner with local organizations to utilize community spaces for in-person courses, ensuring accessible learning near home. Additionally, TRU offers online and technology-enabled options, allowing students to connect with instructors and complete programs without having to travel. This flexible approach ensures that residents of Barriere and Clearwater can gain the skills they need while staying in their communities.

Lillooet and Lytton
The TRU Lillooet Regional Centre serves the communities of Lillooet, Lytton, Ashcroft and Cache Creek by providing accessible education and training close to home. We offer a variety of credit and non-credit courses and programs, supporting learners in upgrading their skills, pursuing new careers, and furthering their education. Recently, we expanded our space to enhance learning opportunities, creating a more flexible and welcoming environment for students.
