Faculty and Staff Resources

Career & Experiential Learning builds partnerships with faculties and departments across campus to connect educators, staff, students, and alumni with relevant career and employment opportunities.

How we support faculty and educators

We support faculty and educators with:

  • Hiring students on campus
  • Supporting students’ experiential learning
  • Providing guidance with professional and academic references
  • Classroom presentations and seminars
  • Career equity resources to help you support students.

Our classroom presentations and seminars can be focused on a variety of career-related topics, such as industry specific resume formats and writing or job search strategies and interviewing skills.

We can also facilitate presentations by industry professionals (often TRU alumni) in your discipline who can share their experience and how their education influenced their career path.

How we connect TRU faculty and students to employers

We continuously work with organizations who are hiring students and recent graduates to create connections between TRU students and faculty to employers. Employers want to have connections with faculty at TRU, and we can help facilitate that.

CEL connects your students and recent graduates with potential employers through industry specific employer presentations and the TRU Job Fair. We attract these employers by working with faculty to target organizations for students in their respective relevant disciplines.

We are always trying to increase the variety of employers coming to campus. Let's work together to provide more opportunities to our students.
