Should you choose to wait-list in any of your courses during registration, you must be aware of the wait-list registration process.
When a seat becomes available in the course you are registered in, an email will be sent to your Student Email. You will have 48 hours from the time the email is sent to log into your myTRU account to register in the course(s). Starting August 24 (for Fall term classes), December 14 (for Winter term classes) and April 18 (for Summer term classes) the time will change to 24 hours.
If you do not register within the allocated time, you will be removed from the wait-list and the seat will go to the next student on the wait-list. If you wish to be reconsidered for the course, you will be required to re-register and re-add yourself to the wait-list again. Please ensure you check your email daily during this wait-list period.
You can forward your TRU email to your personal email, following these instructions.
IMPORTANT: If you are still wait-listed in a course at the start of the semester, you are expected to attend the first two classes of the course to keep your spot on the wait-list. If you are not able to attend the first two classes, you must make prior arrangements with the faculty member. Students may be dropped from the class roster/wait-list for non-attendance.
