Preparing for Tenure & Promotion

Is a CV the same thing as a Resume?  Yes and No.

Evidencing Teaching 

Throughout your teaching career, you may be asked to demonstrate your teaching proficiency or excellence.  This request may relate to a component of a tenure or promotion dossier or to your nomination for a teaching award. Candidate Panel

Document Management

Writing Your Educational Philosophy

Your Teaching Philosophy or Educational Philosophy Statement is a required component of your package(s) for Tenure and/or Promotion. This session included a discussion of the components of a philosophy statement, strategies for composing one, a critique and discussion of some samples, and a guided writing exercise to begin exploring your own educational philosophy.  A recording of this session is available.  Please email celt@tru.ca to request access.
