The ceremony is approximately 1.5 hours in length.
All Convocation ceremonies are broadcast live online for those unable to attend.
- Broadcasts normally begin 5 or 10 minutes before the scheduled start time.
- We list all times in Pacific Standard Time (PST).
- Recordings of the live broadcast are available shortly after each ceremony.
- The live broadcasts and recordings can be viewed at livestream.com/TRU/Convocations
Graduands and guests are welcome to light refreshments immediately following the ceremony. There is no charge for the reception.
Roses for Grads
During the June ceremony only fresh roses are available for purchase on the day of the Ceremony. The TRU Alumni & Friends Association uses the proceeds from the sale of roses for student programs, particularly mentorship programs for matching potential employers with students interested in their field. If you would prefer to pre-order roses, you may do so at http://www.convocationflowers.ca
Frames for credentials and convocation photos can be purchased online or at convocation. To browse and buy online, check out the Convocation Frames on the TRU Bookstore website.
