    Sage burning is a traditional purifi cation practice of the Secwepemc people. The Kamloops and Williams Lake campuses of Thompson Rivers University are situated on traditional Secwepemc territory.

    A coyote sits atop the Brown Family House of Learning on the Kamloops campus. Seklep (Coyote) is an important fi gure in Secwepemc stories—a helper as well as a trickster. The TRU coyote was created by internationally recognized Canadian sculptor John McEwen.

Foundation Holiday Cards

Holiday cards for personal use

These cards are not TRU branded. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of these greeting cards for personal use will go to the TRU Foundation to provide funds for the financial support of TRU students and TRU's programs and projects. Several of the cards feature art or photography by TRU staff. A short message about the TRU Foundation is included on the back of the card.
