Laurel Hogg

Laurel Hogg is a partner at Rush Ihas Hardwick LLP. Prior to joining her current firm, Laurel worked as an associate for several years in Toronto, Ontario, both at Lenczner Slaght LLP and Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP.
Laurel began her career representing clients in commercial and intellectual property disputes in the technology, finance and pharmaceutical industries. After moving to British Columbia in 2020, Laurel leveraged this litigation experience as a family law practitioner, taking on complex family law matters dealing with high-net worth asset division, often complicated by corporate structures, multiple income streams and other vehicles for holding and passing family property. Laurel has appeared at all levels of court in Ontario and British Columbia, as well as the Federal Court of Canada.
She is dedicated to community service within the practice of law and her community at large, having maintained seats on various boards of governance and councils for several years. Laurel is also a regular contributor to two continuing legal education publications as well as a director and provincial county representative for the Canadian Bar Association, BC Branch.
