Literatures, Languages, and Performing Arts
LLPA is an exciting, newly-formed amalgamation of literatures, languages, and performing arts.
In our department, you might choose to do an english major or english minor, a theatre major or minor, a creative writing or modern languages minor, or, coming soon, a theatre and creative writing major.
Imagine a scenario in which you take a literature course to learn about the history and forms of drama (English), write a play (creative writing) in which you include some words from another language (modern languages), and finally participate in seeing the play you’ve written performed (theatre)!
This is all possible in LLPA with our dynamic and dedicated faculty members who want to help you develop into an even more amazing and accomplished version of yourself.
