History Awards and Scholarships
A number of awards and scholarships are available to TRU history students. More information on these can be found on the TRU Awards Site.
Peter Grauer Memorial Award
In memory of long-time president Peter Grauer, the Kamloops Antiques, Collectibles and Heritage Society offers $500 awarded annually in May to the student with the winning research essay on local history. The Department of Philosophy, History and Politics will put out an annual call for essay submissions and History faculty with a representative from the Society will adjudicate the award.
