Funding options

TRU offers a comprehensive range of programs to both assist students in financing their educational and living costs and to recognize academic excellence. Funding can be a combination of bursaries, scholarships, awards, WorkStudy positions, loans and grants.

Some of these programs are administered directly through Student Awards & Financial Aid, and for others we work with the appropriate government office. Some funding requires an application, some is provided upon the recommendation of faculty, and some scholarships and awards are automatically awarded based on performance or other criteria.

WorkStudy program

WorkStudy offers an opportunity for full-time Canadian students with demonstrated financial need to be employed part-time in jobs that accommodate their studies.
