Teaching Unbound (everything else)

LT&I endorse a practice of using open source technologies whenever possible. Instructors have an increasing number of tools available to them, sorting through the options and where to start is another area we can help. Many of the resources we’ve developed, and workshop archives, are available at: Teaching Unbound.

A few of the open source technologies you may encounter.

BigBlueButton (BBB) web conferencing (BBB unbound resources) - For teaching and meeting online. BBB is fully integrated with Moodle, and has a public video-conference site as well. Features include video-based chat, whiteboard, session-recording and screen sharing functionality.

Kaltura (Kaltura unbound resources) - For hosting and sharing video. Fully integrated with Moodle, but also has a public media site.
