Large Group and School Tours

Each group of students and visitors joining us on campus is unique, therefore we do our best to create a visit that suits you best! Our available options depend on the age of your group, amount of time you’re able to spend with us, and staffing availability. Please read through the options below before completing the Book a Group Campus Tour form.

Option #1 – TRU Highlights

This includes a presentation and tour. Depending on the age of the group, a Future Student Advisor will lead our ‘TRU Top 10’ presentation (Grade 11/12) or our ‘Career Talks’ presentation (Grade 10). The group will then join a Future Student Ambassador, one of our current students, to tour campus.

Length of visit: 90 minutes minimum

Who should book this option?
If your group has limited time, this is a great option to experience the highlights of campus. Generally suitable for Grades 10-12 and adult groups.

Modifications:
This option allows for the possibility of add-ons. If there is a particular area of campus your group would like a more in-depth tour of, please indicate on your booking form.

Option #2 – TRU Program Preview

This includes the TRU Highlights plus faculty-led session(s) in area(s) of interest to the group. Attend a presentation, take a tour, and experience a mock-lecture, -lab, or -demonstration from one of TRU’s esteemed faculty. *Please note: this option is entirely dependent on faculty availability.

Length of visit: Three hours minimum but can be a full-day event
*Availability of this option is most likely during May and June.

Who should book this option?
For groups who are looking for a more immersive experience, with more time to spend on campus, TRU Program Preview is an excellent choice. This can be catered for younger group (with the exclusion of the presentation) but is designed for grades 10-12 and adult groups.

Option #3 – Explore TRU

Does your group like to foster healthy competition? Would they gain more from a hands-on approach to experiencing our beautiful campus? Explore TRU through our engaging scavenger hunt. It can be completed electronically with students using their personal devices or using a paper copy.

Length of visit: Two hours

Who should book this option?
This option is available for any age group grade 7 or older. Please note: supervision of students during scavenger hunt is the responsibility of the visiting group. If you do not trust your students to explore campus independently in groups of 5-10 students, you must bring enough staff/parents to properly supervise.
