Mobilizing Knowledge

TRU researchers create solutions to challenges faced by community, business and industry, and they are actively engaged in sharing that new knowledge with the world.

The Presses of TRU:

Small Cities Imprint, which publishes conference and workshop proceedings, peer-reviewed collections, monographs, and works of creativity emerging from or related to the Mapping Quality of Life and the Culture of Small Cities research program.

Canadian Journal of Contemporary Law: Canada's newest open-access and faculty-edited law journal. Inaugural issue published on Jan. 31, 2015.

International Journal of E-Learning & Distance Education: This is an international publication of the Canadian Network for Innovation in Education (CNIE). Its aims are to promote and encourage scholarly work in e-learning and distance education and provide a forum for the dissemination of international scholarship. Dr. Irwin Devries, Interim Associate Vice President Open Learning is the co-editor of the journal, which was transferred to TRU from Mount Royal University in January 2016. The journal is supported by a grant from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council Aid to Scholarly Journals Program.

Knowledge Makers Journal: Established in 2016, the KM Journal is the result of the Knowledge Makers Indigenous student research network at TRU. The network provides an opportunity for Indigenous undergraduate students to learn about Indigenous research and to put practices into action.
