How to Apply

It is easy! Fill out an application form (below) and submit your CV by the application directly to Alyssa Girard, WUSC Senior Program Officer, agirard@wusc.ca by the deadline on March 31, 2026. Successful applicants will be invited for an interview. Successful applicants will be matched to an assignment.

The complete application package includes:

• TRU Leave for Change application form
• Your resume

If you do not see an assignment on the website that matches your skill-set, we strongly encourage you to apply anyways as new opportunities come up frequently. The listed assignments represent a small percentage of the skills and knowledge from which our local country partners could benefit. If you are not applying to a specific assignment, please ensure to state your main areas of interest and skill set.

On the application form, you are asked to provide three mandates you are most interested in. If there is no mandate on the website that corresponds to your expertise, please contact TRU World to discuss what professional skills/expertise you could contribute through a Leave for Change experience. We may still be able to match your expertise to projects that are not listed on the program website.
