Program Description
Achievement Awards We are accepting nominations for the Environmental Sustainability Achievement Awards and the Tom Owen Environmental Sustainability Award.
Clubs and committees Learn about taking part in student clubs, TRU committees and community organizations.
Fill It Forward Make a positive impact with reusable containers, for the environment and for water charities.
Green Guide and Green Guide Challenge The TRU Green Guide helps TRU students live more sustainably on campus and at home. And if you do the Green Guide Challenge you can win great prizes.
Resusable Cutlery Program TRU is eliminating the use of plastic cutlery.
SDG Week Canada We have a week of exciting sustainability-related events March 6-10 in celebration of SDG Week in conjunction with IDays.
Solar Table Design Competition Students compete with designs for outdoor tables that promote renewable energy.
Sustainability Advocacy Advocating for improvements to legislation, ordinances and public policies that broadly advance sustainability is important.
Sustainability Grant Fund for Staff, Faculty and Students TRU's Sustainability Grant Fund was created to advance environmental, economic and social sustainability at TRU. A total of $100,000 is available for the annual application intake.
Sustainability Research Grants for Faculty and Students Applications are currently being invited for both the TRU Sustainability Research Grant for Faculty and the TRU Sustainability Research Grant for Students.
