Soup and Self

Tuesdays from 4:00 to 5:30 pm, October 22 & 29 and November 5 & 12 (OM 1662)

Soup and Self is an introduction to Mindfulness and Meditation, taught as a weekly, 75 minute class over four weeks. Each class concludes around a table where soup and conversation are enjoyed. The program follows the teaching of the book, “Mindfulness for the Next Generation: Helping Emerging Adults Manage Stress and Lead Healthier Lives.”

Participants must commit to all four sessions.  

Introduction to Self-Compassion

Date and Time: TBA

A drop-in workshop that introduces and explores the concept of self-compassion while providing practical tools for participants to incorporate in their daily lives opportunities to treat themselves compassionately in times of personal suffering and//or struggles. 

This workshop is being offered jointly with the Wellness Centre.

Learn to manage anxiety.  Everyone experiences worries, anxiety and stress.  Y-Mind Mindfulness Groups are here to help young people learn how to deal with anxiety and/or stress so they can live their best lives.

Seats in the group are limited and will be granted on a first come, first served basis.
