Out of transit area parking rebate

If you live outside the Kamloops transit area, you may qualify for a 20% rebate on the cost of your parking permit each semester.

Before you apply

You will need to apply each semester, even if you are an annual parker. The Parking Office will verify if you live outside the transit service area before processing your rebate.

Application deadlines

For each semester rebate, the cut-off application dates are:

Fall semester: January 9
Winter semester: May 9
Summer semester: September 9

When rebates are issued

For the fall semester, rebates will be issued in January. Winter semester rebates will be issued in May, and summer semester rebates will be issued in September.

Faculty and staff will receive their rebate through direct deposit. Students will be mailed a cheque to their address on file.
