Tourism Management Diploma
Explore your options with a two-year diploma that gives you a good sampling of the specialties you can take in Tourism Management. Students enrolled in Bachelor of Tourism Management who wish to exit the program upon completion of Year 2 can apply for this diploma.
Requirements
- BC Grade 12 or equivalent or mature student status.
- English 12/English 12 First Peoples with a minimum 73 percent or equivalent.
- Foundations of Math 11 or Pre-calculus 11 with a minimum C or equivalent.
Note: Students with Foundations of Math 12 or Pre-calculus 12 with a minimum C+ will be exempt from MATH 1100 and must make up the three credits with an elective of their choice.

Before graduating, and in order to receive the Tourism Management Diploma, students must complete a minimum of 500 hours of relevant work experience in the tourism industry. Submit reference letters to your program coordinator.
- Students taking just the diploma must use electives towards tourism courses.
- Students planning to take the full BTM are able to take interdisciplinary electives.
