What you need before you go
- Be an existing co-op student.
- Complete Co-op 1000: Career Management.
- Apply through one of the approved Co-op Abroad programs.
- IAESTE Canada
- Calareo
- Co-op Japan
- Plan to return to TRU to complete your studies.
- Have the support of a program advisor and co-op coordinator.
Domestic and international students are eligible. International students should consult with an ISA when applying for international postings. You must be able to secure a work permit for that country.
Co-op Abroad is not yet available for Open Learning students.
Transportation and accommodation may or may not be provided by the company. Be aware of your responsibilities.
