Research Interests
Bioanalytical and Environmental Chemistry:
My research program focuses on developing sensitive analytical methods based on LC-MS, CE, and ICP-MS to
study emerging contaminants in the environment and translate these methods toward biomonitoring in
biological fluids.
1. Analytical Method Development for Emerging Contaminant: This work will focus on developing sensitive
LC-MS, GC-MS, and CE methods for detecting bisphenol analogues, PPCPs, and heavy metals in various
sample matrices.
2. Biomonitoring of Contaminant Exposure and Health Risk: This area of research will extend the
developed analytical methods toward human biomonitoring, characterizing contaminant exposure and its
links to health outcomes, including cancer and neurodegenerative disease risks.
