Welcome to our Open House Series! Here you can register for our upcoming information sessions, find answers to common questions and get a sense of the TRU experience by hearing from students and alumni.

In Person Kickoff

Saturday, October 23
10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Saturday is your opportunity to visit campus, explore our facilities and what TRU is like before attending our virtual program and faculty information series.

Drive Through "TRU Start Kit" Pickup

Can’t make an in person tour? Drive by anytime between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. to grab your gift bag.
Drive through will be at the round about beside the Campus Activity Center (map), enter TRU from the west gate.

Tour Guidelines

Space is limited. Register to attend a tour.

General Campus Tour: One-hour general campus tour and presentation with a current TRU student and student recruiter advisor; see our classrooms, study spaces, student services and places to eat!
10 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 11 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 12 p.m., 12:30 p.m., 1 p.m., 1:30 p.m.

Trades and Technology Tour: 45-minute tour of Trades and Technology building and the Industrial Training and Technology Centre. Thinking about starting a Trade, or taking one of our technology programs, join this tour!
12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m.

School of Nursing: Are you thinking about being a Registered Nurse? Join the faculty of nursing on a 30-minute tour of our brand-new Nursing and Population Health Building. Tour the simulation labs and classrooms while learning about the TRU nursing program.
10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.

Bachelor of Science: Are you interested in completing a Bachelor of Science? Join the Faculty of Science on a tour of the Ken Lepin Science building. Check out classrooms and laboratories used for Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Computing Science, Natural Resource Science, Mathematics, Geology, and more. Just bring your curiosity!
11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. (30 min.)

Architectural and Engineering Technology: “Are you interested in building design? From walls, floors, and roofs, to structural, mechanical, and electrical systems, everything in a building needs to be designed. If you are detail oriented and like to work with the latest computer software, the Architectural and Engineering Technology program could be for you. Come and find out more!
11:30 a.m. (45 min.)

All students who pre-register are entered into the Fall Open House Series Grand Prize valued at over $350.

All guests who attend a tour, register for an info session or stop by the drive through will receive the Fall 2021 TRU Starter Kit: TRU Viewbook, Student Timeline, resources and TRU gifts.

Open House Virtual Information Series

October 26 – December 9

Offered on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, join TRU staff, professors and instructors at the Open House program and faculty information series.

Sessions are scheduled for one hour, this includes a presentation and an opportunity for Q and A.
