The Food Squad

Join us!

Student ambassadors in the Food Squad have a critical role in the TRU Food Security Initiative by supporting our holistic efforts to combat food insecurity on campus.

The ambassadors coordinate a community fridge/freezer program, create educational social media and marketing content, implement outreach initiatives, provide peer mentoring, coordinate and assist at workshops and events — plus much more.

The ideal candidate is passionate about social justice, food access and community building, with a desire to make a tangible difference in the lives of their peers.
