Allan Wu

Allan Wu is an Assistant City Solicitor at the City of Surrey with a practice that encompasses civil litigation, bylaw enforcement, and other contentious matters. Allan is a graduate of the University of Victoria’s Faculty of Law where he was the recipient of numerous academic awards. As a law student, Allan was awarded the inaugural Christine Huglo Robertson Essay Prize by the Canadian Institute for the Administration of Justice for a student essay adjudged to make a significant contribution to scholarship concerning the administration of justice.

Prior to joining the City of Surrey, Allan practiced complex civil litigation with the Vancouver offices of an international law firm and a national law firm. Allan has appeared before all levels of court in British Columbia on matters ranging from disputes regarding infrastructure projects, disputes regarding insurance, and the enforcement of municipal bylaws.
