Current Students and Alumni

The TRU Law Career Services Office is here to support your search for legal employment, whether it is a position with a law firm, corporation, government entity, or public interest employer; a judicial clerkship; or one of the various alternative careers available to law school students and graduates.

Current Students

TRU Law students have access to TRU Law’s 12twenty Career Management System – the Career Advising, Resources, and Events hub (CARE”), where you can view job postings, access publications, and resources, schedule appointments with the TRU Law Career Services Office, and TRU Law Career Services Office events.

TRU Law Alumni

The TRU Law Career Services Office is also pleased to assist TRU Law alumni with career-related matters. TRU Law alumni have access to CARE for two years after graduation and are welcome to use it to schedule appointments. TRU Law alumni who have graduated more than two years ago can email us at lawcdo@tru.ca to schedule an appointment or request resources.

The TRU Law Career Services Office frequently receives job postings from various employers seeking to hire alumni as lawyers or in JD-advantage roles. These postings are sent out by email on a bi-weekly basis. Alumni interested in receiving these job postings can email us at lawcdo@tru.ca.
