LLB, LLM, PhD
Margaret Isabel Hall LLB, LLM, PhD is the Society of Notaries Public of BC Chair in Applied Legal Studies and a Professor in the Simon Fraser University School of Criminology. Dr. Hall is also the Director of the Masters of Arts in Applied Legal Studies (MA ALS) Program at Simon Fraser University (SFU). Prior to joining SFU, Dr. Hall was an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Law at Thompson Rivers University (where she was a Founding Faculty member). Dr. Hall's areas of research and publication include tort law, law and aging; legal responses to vulnerability; mental capacity; law and dementia, and medical assistance in dying.
