Seniors Living Project Practicum
This course, to be completed near the end of the certificate, provides an opportunity for the student to consolidate learning throughout the program with the completion of an on-site project.
After successfully completing this course, you will be able to:
- Assess an operational component of a Seniors Living Residences and provide recommendations for change that can lead to improvement.

30 weeks maximum duration from the date of registration. Students normally complete this course in less than the allowed maximum time, depending on the length and timing of the arranged practicum this should be a 30 hour practicum.

Open Learning Faculty Member
An Open Learning Faculty Member is available to assist students. Primary communication is through Learning Environment’s “Mail” tool or by phone. Students will receive the necessary contact information at the start of the course.
Students will submit a Final Project report based on the requirements of the practicum project to the Open Learning Faculty Member. Upon approval of the Final Report by the Open Learning Faculty Member, the student will present the Final Report to their Practicum Host. The submission and presentation of the Final Project report are the only assessed activities and are mandatory in order to receive credit for the course. The grade on your transcript for HLTH 3707 will read "Com" (Complete) or "NCG" (No Credit Granted)
