Dale Skinner

Dale Skinner graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Alberta in 1984. He practised law in Calgary Alberta for almost 35 years, approximately 20 years with McCarthy Tetrault and 15 years with Dentons Canada. He was a partner, engaged in the securities and mergers and acquisitions groups, at both firms and had an extensive corporate/commercial, securities and mergers and acquisitions practice. Dale acted for major public company and private equity clients. He retired from Dentons in 2018, but continues to be an active member of the Law Society of Alberta.

In September 2019 Dale began teaching securities law, as a sessional instructor, at the Faculty of Law, Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, British Columbia and has taught courses in corporate governance, securities law and mergers and acquisitions.
