Stefan Roddau Career Services Coordinator

Stefan Roddau is the Career Services Coordinator at TRU Law. Stefan provides advice on application materials and interview skills, presents information sessions for students, and partners with legal employers to provide both insights and opportunities for law students. Stefan also runs TRU Law’s online jobs portal, the Career Advising, Resources, and Events hub (“CARE”), which includes setting up student accounts and assisting students and employers with their questions about the system.

Prior to joining TRU, Stefan worked at two different post-secondary institutions in Ontario. There, he provided career services and stakeholder relations for a graduate program in the faculty of medicine, and in the school of trades and apprenticeship, respectively. Stefan became passionate about supporting the career aspirations of post-secondary students while working in the non-profit sector through a government funded youth employment program. There, he developed experience in career advising, workshop facilitation, and employer engagement, and supported graduates in a wide variety of fields, from engineering to accounting to social services. He continues to use this experience to find creative and strategic ways to help young people get their careers started. Stefan holds a BA in Philosophy from Concordia University in Montreal.

Stefan is a member of both the Canadian Legal Career Development Network (CLCDN) and the National Association for Law Placement (NALP).
