Opportunities for TESOL Graduates

Hear about jobs near and far through our online network of TESOL grads and faculty. Our grads have gone on to:

  • Teach in Canada and around the world
  • Be program administrators
  • Be program coordinators
  • Develop and write curricula
  • Teach at universities and colleges
  • Pursue masters degrees (in many cases at TRU) and doctoral degrees in TESOL at leading institutions

In Canada

Many TESOL grads have started their careers with TRU World's contract training programs. Others have started with Kamloops Immigrant Services.

TRU World hires 30 or 40 instructors and instructional assistants each year for short-term contract positions, with many hired for summer immersion programs.

Others have found opportunities in Metro Vancouver, Victoria, Prince George and Alberta.

Internationally

Teaching overseas is a chance to have a rewarding career while living and working in another country. Grads have worked in Colombia, Japan, China, Hong Kong, South Korea, Poland, Chile and the United Arab Emirates.

Information for employers
