WTTP 1891: Water Treatment Lab
AVAILABLE IN CANADA ONLY
This course offers hands-on practical training, which is integral to the development of future operators. Students progress through practical experiences involving basic electrical and instrumentation, mechanical system maintenance, laboratory procedures and plant operation fundamentals.
Learning outcomes
- Conduct tests to analyse the chemistry of water for successful operation, maintenance, and problem-solving.
- Perform basic electrical, instrumentation, and mechanical system maintenance.
- Perform cross-connection assembly across a variety of devices.
- Apply appropriate safety procedures.
- Demonstrate the principles of effective verbal and non-verbal communication.

To successfully complete this course, students must achieve a passing grade of 70% or higher on the overall course
