Low Carbon District Energy System Virtual Information Session
As part of TRU's plan to become carbon neutral, we partnered with Creative Energy to develop and operate a low carbon district energy system for the Kamloops campus.
Phase 1
We engaged in public consultation in 2021, and two years later received approval from the BC Utilities Commission. We expect to break ground on Phase 1 in spring 2024.
Phase 2
We held an information session on Dec. 15, 2023, where there was an opportunity to ask questions or provide comments.
