Construction begins on "The Gathering Place" at TRU Williams Lake campus
A groundbreaking ceremony officially kicks off construction of "The Gathering Place" at the TRU Williams Lake campus. The building is modelled after a winter pit house once used by Interior Salish peoples of the Carrier, Chilcotin and Shuswap nations. The $800,000 project is scheduled for completion this December.
