Tutors
Meet the wonderful team of Writing Centre tutors!
Tutors are students, like you, or other members of the TRU community. They offer feedback and advice on writing, with the goal of developing students' writing skills and building their confidence. To help students reach this goal, tutors are trained in writing, grammar, collaboration, interpersonal skills, intercultural competencies, as well as tutoring and writing centre theories, practices, and strategies. The interaction between the writing tutor and the writer is one of cooperation, respect, and focused learning.
