Assessment criteria

Please describe whether your community is rural, remote, Indigenous, urban, a combination, or other.

Please explain whether your community is outside of structural fire protection jurisdiction (i.e., not covered by a municipal or established fire department)

Please describe activities and dates that demonstrate a history of wildfire mitigation (proactively reducing risks and impacts of wildfires through the implementation of the seven FireSmart disciplines) in-community within the last 3 years.

Please describe the available facilities necessary for training delivery (i.e., indoor classroom setting, outdoor area to practice Fireline fundamentals and/or Basic Chainsaw Operation)

Please describe how this training intends to strengthen local wildfire preparedness and support response efforts at the community-level

Please explain recent wildfire training history, including any funding or resources accessed, and how this funding opportunity could be leveraged to expand training efforts.
