 Adventure Studies

‘Come Play With Me’
Come play in the Early Childhood Education classroom! We will have a variety of activities for you to explore: sensory activities, art, dramatic play, blocks and Lego. Hosted by faculty in the Early Childhood Education Diploma Program, this session is open to all ages!

Join our session to discover TRU School of Nursing and the programs we offer! Meet our students and professors as they enthuse you with their stories about our nursing programs, practice placements locally and globally, our Simulation Lab, and student experiences. We end the session with a tour of our Learning Resource Centre (lab) and Simulation Lab.

 Robotics Race Competition
Hosted by faculty in the Bachelor of Engineering in Software Engineering program, the robotics race is a family fun and knowledge oriented competition. The goal is to provide an environment for knowledge transfer about robots, while having fun simultaneously. Participants will be divided into groups (of 5 people maximum). There is no prior knowledge of Robots required and winners will be awarded a prize. Spots are limited, so register NOW to secure your spot!!

Come join a campus tour where a current student will help you navigate everything from the multiple campus buildings, the bookstore, where to eat, TRU programs and faculties, student services and resources, and other amazing opportunities offered on campus. There is no better way to see all our beautiful campus has to offer!

 St. John Ambulance Therapy Dogs
The St John Ambulance Therapy Dogs will be at the Open House! Stop by, say hello and take a quiet moment with a furry friend. Time spent with dogs various physical and mental health benefits. The Therapy Dogs are on campus most Thursdays through the academic year.
