Types of Tours

Group Tours

Groups are welcome on campus! A minimum of two weeks’ notice for group tours is preferred, as our team will customize a tour for you and, if necessary, help facilitate accommodation, meals and other activities. From September to January, most of our team is off-campus visiting high schools and there is limited availability for group tours. Advance notice and flexibility are greatly appreciated.

Individual/Family Tours

All prospective students and their families, as well as the public, are invited to take a campus tour of TRU. Coming to TRU this year or next? A tour will help you find your way and navigate your future.

What to expect

  • Duration of tour is approximately one hour (depending on size of group); don’t forget to wear comfortable walking shoes.
  • A large portion of the tour is outdoors.
  • Your tour guide will be a current student or recent graduate of TRU.
  • As you walk around the campus and through many of the buildings, you will learn more about the institution’s history, program offerings, campus services, and other interesting facts and general information.

Where to go

Your tour will begin on the Kamloops campus in Old Main, on BMO Student Street at Students’ Corner – OM 1468.
