Donald Robert Andrews - Doctor of Letters, honoris causa

Donald Robert Andrews has served his country, his community and UCC for more than half a century. In 1977, he was awarded the Queen’s medal in recognition of 23 years of dedication and commitment to Royal Inland Hospital, and his continuous involvement in various community service activities and UCC initiatives has enhanced the lives of many over the past five decades. Of particular note were his valuable contributions to the UCC Chapter 2000 Campaign, which raised over $3 million for UCC’s library collections


Stella H. Black - Doctor of Letters, honoris causa

Stella H. Black, born and raised in Kamloops, has been a friend to UCC since it began. She was made an honourary member of the UCC Board of Governors in 1991 in recognition of her decade-long service, and the many initiatives she spearheaded in her capacity as board chair. Her involvement with UCC continued as an ongoing Foundation volunteer, and she has been closely involved with her community and campus in many capacities.
