Western Canadian Deans of Arts, Science and Indigenous Studies
Dates: Thursday, February 19 and Friday, February 20, 2026
Location: Laurel Point Inn in Victoria, British Columbia
Scope and purpose of conference: This annual conference is a member-organized event for Deans and Associate Deans of Arts, Science and Indigenous Studies to participate in professional development. In addition, it is an opportunity to network and provide mentorship as well as advice to one another on areas of particular concern. All deans and vice or associate deans of Western Canadian Faculties within the broad sphere of natural sciences, social sciences, humanities or Indigenous studies are welcome to attend. Please share this invitation with your colleagues in the relevant areas.
Registration: Your registration fee includes all programming and food. Please note that travel and hotel accommodation are not included.

Registration fees:
- Early bird registration fee (until December 15, 2025): $550 + GST
- Regular registration fee (after December 15, 2025): $600 + GST
- Additional banquet ticket for guests: $125.00 + GST
Cancellations made up to Friday, February 6, 2026 are eligible for a refund, minus a $50 administrative fee per ticket. Unfortunately, no refunds can be issued for cancellations made after this date.
Booking information: We are pleased to share that the 2026 Western Canadian Deans of Arts, Science and Indigenous Studies will once again be held at the Laurel Point Inn in Victoria. A block of rooms has been reserved on a first come, first served basis at a nightly rate of $169 + taxes until Monday, January 12, 2026.
Please note that accommodation is not included in the conference registration and must be booked separately.
