TRU takes photographs of, and interviews individuals for the purposes of university promotion in various media (e.g. printed materials, website, social media). The collection of this personal information is permitted under Section 26(c) of the BC Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, RSBC 1996 (FIPPA).

TRU may use and disclosure all images and interviews (with or without your name), collected at the 2021 BC MBA Games by the university or by any nominee of the university (including any agency, client, publication or other organization or institution) in whole or in part, in all forms and media, for distribution to the general public for the purposes of publicity and university promotion in various media (e.g. printed materials, website, social media). TRU may seek copyright of the photographs/information in their name.

In giving consent, you release TRU and its nominees from liability for any violation of any personal or proprietary right in connection with any sale, reproduction or use of the photographs/interviews.

Thompson Rivers University (TRU) collects, uses, discloses and retains personal information in compliance with the BC Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, RSBC 1996 (FIPPA). Your personal information is being collected on this form as permitted under section 26(c) of the FIPPA, and will be used for the purposes of your registration in the 2021 BC MBA Games.
