Information for Presenters
Proposal Information
Types of Proposals
Short Synchronous Session: 10 minute live/synchronous presentation.
Long Synchronous Session: 30 minute live/synchronous presentation, including time for questions.
Posters: posters will be on display at the event with a brief poster session.
Format Information
As this is a hybrid conference, you will also be asked in the submission form for your format preference. Both short and long synchronous sessions have an option for presentation format to be in person, online, or both:
Present from a classroom to an in-person audience: this option has no online participation.
Present online/remotely: this will be an online only presentation in a Teams, Zoom, or equivalent meeting room.
Present from a classroom to an in-person and online audience (hybrid): these presentations will make use of a multi-media classroom to present to attendees in the physical classroom while streaming to an online room as well.
For all options, there will be a TPC committee member and/or ITS support present.
Evaluation Criteria
The TPC committee is looking for a mixture of sessions that will appeal to a wide audience and that reflect the theme and streams. Please be sure to explain in the statement field how your session reflects the theme/streams. Session proposals will be evaluated for acceptance based on the following criteria:
- Currency and/or innovativeness
- Relevancy to theme and audience
- Clarity of abstract
- Evidence of engaging participants
