The decisions donors make when giving charitably are complex. Personal finances, family, dependents, interest rates, inflation — all these factors influence someone’s ability to give. That is why we are endlessly grateful to the people who choose, despite all circumstances, to support TRU.
The TRU Foundation has stewarded donor funds for four decades and, today, our endowment sits at nearly $32 million. The endowment investments produce revenue that is distributed annually to students through financial awards that benefactors have created with the guidance of TRU Advancement. This year alone, we gave $1.98 million to students through donor-funded awards. Increasingly, the endowment also supports donor-created funds that are directed to programming and research.
