Curriculum Development and Renewal

TRU offers a comprehensive range of educational programs which meet the diverse needs of our regional, national and international learners. Programs are developed and regularly reviewed and modified to evolve and align with societal changes, programmatic accreditation requirements, and advancements in technology and research.

In order to provide the highest quality education and access to excellence, TRU's academic approval process is designed to be comprehensive and rigorous.

Curriculum development and TRU's academic governance structure is supported by the Educational Programs Committee of Senate (EPC), the Graduate Studies Committee of Senate (GSC), the Academic Planning and Priorities Committee of Senate (APPC), the Planning Council for Open Learning (PCOL), and the Office of the Provost and Vice-President Academic and Research.

Information and templates for developing and modifying curriculum are available on Academic Approvals OneTRU.
