A public, fully accredited, degree-granting institution, TRU offers on-campus, distance and blended learning options. Nearly 27,000 students study on its campuses in Kamloops and Williams Lake in British Columbia’s sunny Interior, or by distance or online through TRU’s Open Learning division.

Students can choose from more than 140 on-campus programs and 60 Open Learning programs in arts, science, health sciences, trades and technology, tourism, business and economics, education and social work, nursing and law. From English language certificates to bachelor’s and master’s degrees, TRU offers great flexibility. Credits from certificates and diplomas can be applied toward degrees (“laddering”), and students can begin the first year of an open admission degree while simultaneously completing any missing prerequisites.
