TRU Carpentry Camp for Girls
There is no scheduled Carpentry Camp for Girls schedule at this time. This page will reflect any future changes and cohorts.
Are you a young woman interested in a summer of fun in the sun? How about forging new lifelong friendships, developing team-building skills and learning to use power tools?
Craft your carpentry skills for free this summer at TRU’s Carpentry Camp for Girls, for ages 12–15. You’ll spend a week using a variety of hand and power tools, measuring and cutting and learning about blueprints. With your fellow campers you’ll use your new skills to construct a unique playhouse that will be donated to a not-for-profit organization, and see your hard work come to life right before your eyes.
Some people look for adventure, this is your chance to build your own. Today’s playhouse could be tomorrow’s tiny house, the possibilities are endless!
