TRU has comprehensive industry relevant programs and courses related to all aspects of water and wastewater treatment. Programs and courses are available in the classroom, online and blended models utilizing Kamloops’ premier water treatment facility.

Online & Print Format, Continuous Intake $147.00 (6 hrs)
An introductory course for owners and operators of small water systems (campsite operators, Parks, ranches, administrators, water equipment vendors, people with backyard swimming pools etc.) that provides owners and operators access to up-to-date, practical information on the safe delivery of drinking water by small water systems. Once your registration is complete you will receive an email from the Program Assistant in the Water and Wastewater Technology program with instructions for completing the course online. Included in these instructions will be a web address (URL) for Moodle. Should you choose to complete the course in print format, you will need to request a course syllabus to be mailed to you. A TRU WaterSafe Certificate will be awarded on completion of a qualifying exam.
Continuing Education for Water Treatment Industry
Operators currently in the field may take single courses (modules) to meet the mandatory continuing education units (CEUs) defined by the EOCP or for their own general interest. These courses are available in print format only and do not have online components. These courses are also CEU approved in Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island.
